Pima Co. Sheriff's Dept.: Chief Deputy indicted for misuse of RICO funds

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson News Now has just learned that Pima County Sheriff's Department's Chief Deputy Chris Radtke, has been indicted for the misuse of RICO funds.

Radtke has submitted his resignation to the Sheriff's Office, according to Pima Co. Sheriff Chris Nanos.

"In regards to RICO money expenditures, there is a stringent process in place with independent review from an outside agency," said Sheriff Nanos in a statement issued on Monday night. "There is also an audit on the backend of all expenditures and we will continue to review all processes to make sure checks and balances are working appropriately."
