TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Four out of five people who live in Arizona say the state is a good place for immigrants to live. That's the result of a Gallup Poll released on Friday.

The poll included all fifty states for the year 2015.

The percentage in Arizona was just one percentage point under the national average, although Gallup says the 81 percent "falls at least five percentage points below the scores of neighboring states - California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico."

Ninety percent of people who live in Nevada say their state is good for immigrants. That is the highest percentage in the country.

Only 67 percent of people who live in West Virginia say their state is a good place for immigrants. That is the lowest percentage in the country.

Gallup mentioned that Arizona still is dealing with the aftermath of SB 1070, the law which many felt targeted both legal and illegal immigrants.
