Investigation of motorcycle gang nets 4 arrests in southern AZ

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Department of Public Safety announced Thursday, Feb. 18 the arrests of four men in southern Arizona allegedly linked to a motorcycle gang.

According to a release, DPS says the arrests were the result of a three-year investigation from the agency's anti-gang task force, GIITEM.

Investigators with the Gang and Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission were looking into alleged criminal activity involving the Sons of Hell Motorcycle Gang. They served eight search warrants on Wednesday, Feb. 17, resulting in the arrests of 29-year-old Matthew Slanina of Tucson, 63-year-old Bernard Daley of Yuma, 36-year-old Manuel Valenzuela of Somerton and 45-year-old Adam Odya of Casa Grande. 

The four were taken into custody on outstanding arrest warrants for aggravated assault and participation in a criminal street gang.

The investigation is on-going. GIITEM detectives are actively searching for other outstanding suspects.
