Photo featuring Saguaro NP wins nationwide contest
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The National Park Service turns 100 this year and to celebrate, NPS officials have asked people to send in photos and videos of their favorite parks and experiences. Only 100 were picked as winners in three categories - Grand Prize, 1st Place, and 2nd Prize.
Our very own Saguaro National Park West made the list of First Prize winners. Debbie Angel submitted the image to See It, Snap It, Send It and writes "I live next to Saguaro National Park West and am honored to have my sunset pic taken there chosen as one of the FIRST PRIZE WINNERS in the National Park Service's Centennial Park Project celebrating the 100th birthday of our National Park System."
Prize packages include great and experiences from REI, Subaru, Coleman, and more.
