As gas prices continue to drop, Tucson boasts lowest in state

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Gas prices continue to fall across the nation, including throughout southern Arizona, according to AAA Arizona.

Arizona's average slid down to $2.15 per gallon this week, down six cents from the week before. Arizona prices are at an eight-month low.

Nationally, the average price has dropped to $2.19. Check out gas prices near you with the Tucson News Now gas price checker.

Experts with AAA say falling crude oil prices and sufficient domestic supplies have kept gas prices decreasing over the past several weeks, according to a press release.

Tucson has the lowest average price in the state, at $2.01 per gallon.

Flagstaff has the highest fuel price in Arizona, at $2.43 a gallon.
